I'm not sure I am going to sleep any tonight. I wish I could just be like Travis and throw some stuff in a bag the morning of departure and not have another worry in the world. On the other hand, if we get stranded in Port-au-Prince airport (or anywhere for that matter) I have come prepared!! And, we will be able to do some crafts while we are waiting to be rescued, lol! Also, I am pretty sure there is an entire Walgreens pharmacy in my suitcase. It is such a burden to be a nurse/mom sometimes, so many "well, what if this happens.....or what if that happens". Too much pressure, ya'll!!! I'm a very level headed person, but packing for trips almost sends me to the looney house everytime!! To top it off, my foot still hurts. I think I must have tendonitis in it or something. It's been hurt since Monday, I'm not really sure what I did to it but I hope it is better tomorrow. Please pray that it doesn't get any worse!!
Well, enough of that. I got the cutest little purple Bible in the mail today from my precious sister. She is such a blessing to me. Her birthday is Friday and it is the first time in my life that I wont get to tell her happy birthday in person or over the phone. Crazy! Happy Happy Birthday, Birdie! I love you so much!! Ok, I feel better :) Also, my Mom is about to have a melt down. She really doesn't want me to go. She's just a worried Mommy. I will be fine Mom! On another note, I want to say that I have the best work family EVER!! This ENTIRE trip was paid for by my coworkers. How incredible is that? I do not have the words to express how much this touches my heart. The actual trip, shots, food, toiletries, hotel, crafts, and a little money to take for whatever may arise is what all the money went to. The Lord is definately providing and this is a testimony that if you ask, then you shall receive. I never imagined that I would get exactly the amount of money that I needed!! And one more special thanks before I try to go to bed.......thank you, Owen (my nephew) for letting be borrow you little ipod shuffle. Thanks to that little sucker, I have been training for a 5k and getting music for traveling. What a lifesaver and how sweet of him to let me borrow it.

So you're off!! I hope you're not really concerned about not being able to wish me a happy birthday in person tomorrow! I will tell Owen how thankful you are again. I know that you have every single thing that you could possibly need and much more because you are such a great organizer and planner. Heck that's why I went into business with you, we sure couldn't have had two of me!!

I will pray for you to have control over your emotions but remember when the Holy Spirit is at work there's bound to be a lot of emotions so it's ok to cry!! I'll also be praying for your gimp foot.
